But nobody even knew his secret ambition,

All the pain that he went through, we could never understand,

The prophecies’ fulfilled, 3 days later God’s power revealed,

V-1 It was a dark and stormy night, the show was hype, the altar call was tight,

But I had this feeling down deep that something wasn’t right, 

I  knew I was too tired to drive, but still I got behind that wheel,

But things took a turn for the worse when I got up over that hill,

When I woke up I was plowing through the trees,

And hearing loud crashes, screaming please Lord please,

I went between two trees, a huge oak tree, and a couple of rocks,

And in the midst of the terror I came to a complete stop,

 Couldn’t believe I was alive, but my car was suffering,

But it didn’t matter cause I knew that I had spiritual covering,

The next day the police, wrecker, and the paramedics were all stunned,

They looked at me and said “you must have had some help on this one”,

Not a scratch on my body, not a pain in my bones,

God’s power was shown, so I’m gone’ keep on keepin’ on,

Just ahead was a 150 foot drop, so just let me say,

If I would’ve went a little bit further I might not be here today, BUT

It was scary, like my life flashed before my eyes,

But it’s all good, cause I know where I be going when I die,

What a tragedy when one never finds the altar of repentance,

They wanted to  confuse us, they just tried to abuse us,

In actuality they just wanted to use us,

You try to run and hide, got to swallow your pride, got to let it go, don’t keep it inside,

Vengeance is mine, says the Lord, and he will repay,

Let go and let God, (let go and let God) and you can free today!

HOLES IN THE HEART

V-1 The year 2004, the day April 1^st,

When our beautiful baby boy came into this earth,

We all stood amazed at little Landon Blaze,

Threw up our hands and gave God the praise,

But the doctors came in, they said something isn’t right,

His heart isn’t normal, we may have to med flight,

Open heart surgery, just one of the possibilities,

They had to run some tests, so we dropped to our knees,

We prayed and we cried, and we cried and we prayed,

But God will make a way when there seems to be no way,

The doctors came in, no surgery required,

Praise be to God cause’ we made it through the fire,

They said he had a condition that caused a heart murmur,

Had to see a specialist to investigate it further,

He had 2 holes in his heart, we thought this can’t be true,

But there ain’t nothing that my God can’t do!

Chorus:  LET JESUS COME, AND GIVE YOU PEACE,

HE’S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN BRING THE LIGHT INTO THE DARK,

HE WILL GIVE YOU REST, AND YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME,

V-2 A couple of months later, traveling to Tennessee,

Blaze started turning blue and he couldn’t even breathe,

Rushed to the hospital, more stress, and more tests,

3 nights with no rest, nevertheless we were blessed,

Can’t imagine how parents feel losing their kids,

Our faith was tested, started thinking about SIDS,

Sudden infant death syndrome,

One day smiling and breathing and then gone,

But God came through just like he said he would,

God is good all the time, all the time God is good,

They couldn’t even find a reason, for him to stop breathing,

No time for grieving, we just kept on believing,

He stopped breathing again, another trip to the emergency room,

But God knew Blaze before he formed him in the womb,

Jesus Christ was there with a shoulder to cry on,

Today those holes have closed up and the murmur is gone, Hallelujah!
